07/16- Iroquois County, Illinois: Some corn is tasseling, most in the next 2 weeks.  Very uneven fields, compaction stunted growth.  Fields are starting to look good on the outside, but end rows are stunted from compaction and ponds are thin or missing.  Beans are very small for this time of year with some looking like double crop.  Went up East of Kankakee, Kankakee County, IL and they are behind Iroquois

07/08 - Jones Co. Eastern Iowa: The growing season has been near ideal. But we have only had .5 inch of rain in the last three weeks, so we are going to need a few more showers to finish the crop. We still have full yield potential. The corn was knee high by the fourth.

06/24 - Clarion Co. PA: Corn in Clarion County PA was planted May 12...extremely wet and cool spring...hard freeze 20 degrees on May 25...corn was very stressed and has recovered nicely with warm temperatures and sunshine.  Clarion County is hardly the corn belt (we have timber soil), however further east in PA (better soils) the corn is excellent...ten days ago the corn there was over waist high.

6/22 - Clay Co. Northwest Iowa: Knee high by the 4th and probably waist high. This is David's corn and it's on target for 200+ bushels/acre.

06/22 - Clay Co. Northwest Iowa: These are Rodney's last planted soybeans, planted about May 22.

06/19 - East Central Indiana: Everyone has been done for about a good week to ten days and crops look good . The only stress or poor conditions showing up are in a few fields that were a little too wet when worked or planted and they show slowed growth in implement tracks. I am located north of Interstate 74 and just east of the Illinois state line.
